Why Taiwan?

We came to Taiwan due to Kathy's deep connections with the Taiwanese people. Surprisingly, it was not Mike. He may look it, but he's not Taiwanese so feel the guilt that comes from passing judgment prior to knowing the truth. Kathy has always desired to teach overseas whether it be Japan, Korea, China...well you can see the obsession she has with Asians. Being in touch in Canada with a fellow Canadian here in Taiwan, Kathy started the recruiting process in her final year of university. And being locked in marriage, it was only fitting to have Mike come along despite the interviewers words, "Kathy, we have no problem with. It's YOU that is the issue of contention." It was not until Mike moved out of his office and sat on the plane that reality was sinking in. We ARE going to Taiwan.
