2006.10.14 - Pain tolerance(Mike)
You think you can take pain? I have been dealing with an ongoing allergic reaction localized to my hands and feet; actually since Carlene came for a visit in June. It was improperly diagnosed as athletes' foot so the medicine first prescribed was bu hao [no good]. I saw a dermatologist (by walk-in!) who was able to give the right medicine. It worked for a while but until recently the meds wore thin so the doctor took invasive action. The first round last week was five injections to my hands and feet. Nice sensitive spots! Today it was eight and I lost all feeling to my left hand for the whole day of work. Not easy to open marker lids when you can't feel them. Good thing kids like to help you out here.
