2007.01.18 - Amazing Disappearing Scooter
Kathy parked her scooter as usual in front of our building. However, the next day was not as usual. Somehow her scooter disappeared. Kathy parked her scooter in front of a store and thought the owner moved it. That didn’t happen. We were so confused since Kathy's scooter is a little 50c.c. which is smaller and older than the neighboring scooters. Out of all the hundreds of scooters next to Kathy’s, hers was the “lucky” one so the Chinese say. Our good friend Josh (Taiwanese) helped Kathy at the police station to make a report only to understand that the officer taking the report was more interested in how Josh knew English. Hopefully the scooter can be found but until then Kathy is in search for one she can use.
